Grandparent Breakfast

On Friday, September 10, Bailyn's elementary school hosted a Grits and Grandparents Breakfast. She decided that she wanted her grandma and grandpa to come to our house for breakfast instead. So we made some biscuits, sausage, and gravy (ugh....my stomach is hurting as I type it). Grandma and Grandpa got here at 7am and we had celebrate plates and breakfast ready to go. I meant the world to Bailyn to have them here....and even the boys got to eat with us. It is a great tradition that we can look forward to every year!~ Thanks Grandma and Grandpa....you guys are the best!

What a great tradition! It's so nice your parents are able to come over for something like a grandparent breakfast. Makes me wish my parents were closer!! I just caught up on all your posts...your fam is beautiful and seeing my friends kids get older makes me feel older! No fun. :)

How fun! I love your parents. And it was so smart to do it at home and not at school. That was way too early, and probably pretty impersonal with all the other kids to cause distractions. Great idea!
